Upcoming Honor Guard Activities.  For more information, please contact Commander Joe Kramer, JKramer@Indy.rr.com.

More information on the Confirmation Mass at St. Elizabeth SetonMass is on Friday, April 21st, at 7PM.  I would like everyone to arrive by 6:15PM.  We will dress in the Upper Room.  If you can attend and haven’t yet notified me, please let me know immediately.

Catholic Women’s Conference, Saturday, April 22nd.  I sent a separate note about this previously.  We have been invited to participate with the Bishop Chatard and Fr. Patrick Kelly Assemblies.  From Nate Schallert, Faithful Commander, Bishop Chatard Assembly:”

Report at 2:30PM to the Indiana Convention Center in the 500 Ballroom. The 500 Ballroom is located on the first floor and is the first conference room on your left as you enter from the entrance on North Capital.  You can gather in the 500 Ballroom reception room adjacent to the 500 Ballroom.  We will expect to see you at 2:30PM.  You will be able to meet with Father Michael and receive final instructions from him.  As far as parking, I think it would be cheapest to park on the street if possible, or in the Mall Parking garage.  One Mall Parking garage is behind St. John's about one and a half blocks from the Convention Center.  Here is the timetable I was given, but things could change slightly:
3:10-3:40           Exposition and Divine Mercy Chaplet (Honor Guard)
3:40-4:00           Father Michael’s Homily (Honor Guard)
4:00-4:20           Procession and Benediction (Honor Guard)
Nate Schallert will lead this activity.

I could still use more Knights for Divine Mercy Sunday, April 23rd – at SEAS from 2PM-4PM (arrive by 1:30PM), and at OLMC, from 3PM-4PM (arrive by 2:30PM).  If you haven’t already, please let me know as soon as possible your availability and for which parish.

So, please keep the following dates open:
April 21st (Friday) – Confirmation @ SEAS, arrive at 6:15PM
April 22nd (Saturday) – Catholic Women’s Conference @ Convention Center
April 23rd (Sunday) – Divine Mercy Sunday – OLMC & SEAS
May 5th (Friday) – Confirmation @ SLDM (more details to follow)
June 3rd (Saturday) – Ordination of Priests @ Lafayette Cathedral, dressed by 10:15AM
June 4th (Sunday) – Josh Janko’s first Mass @ OLMC, arrive by 5PM
June 24th (Saturday) - Ordination of Diaconate @ Lafayette Cathedral, dressed by 10:15AM
July 8th (Saturday) – Officer Installation @ SLDM 5PM Mass

June 3rd is Ordination of Priests in Lafayette.  Josh Janko, a 3rd Degree Knight who attended school at OLMC and is a member of the SEAS Council, is being ordained along with Eric Underwood.  We have once again been invited to join the General de Lafayette Assembly at the ordination.  We need to provide a head count to FC Ken Lanie, so please check your calendars and get back to me soon with your commitment to attend.

On June 4th, Josh Janko’s will be celebrating his First Mass at 5:30PM at OLMC.  Please arrive no later than 5PM.  I assume we’ll be in the St. John Bosco room as usual.  I’ll let you know if that changes.

The Ordination of the Diaconate is on June 24th in Lafayette.  Again we have been invited to join the General de Lafayette Assembly and again we need to provide a head count to FC Ken Lanie.  Please check your calendars and let me know you are attending this event also.

For both the Ordination of Priests and the Ordination of the Diaconate we need to be dressed in the Bishop Higi Room in the basement of the Cathedral by 10:15AM.  Parking will be at a premium so get there early.
